Buy the Baby/Child Over More Dress sewing pattern from Waves & Wild. The Over More Dress is a comfortable, casual knit dress designed to be worn over a t-shirt. There are two styles of dress, each with its own pocket option: an A-line dress with a kanga pocket, or a dress with a gathered skirt and in-seam pockets. Both styles can have snap shoulders or tie shoulders. You can also make a fully lined/reversible A-line dress.

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight 2- or 4-way stretch knit fabric such as cotton/Lycra french terry, sweatshirt fleece, etc. 10% - 50% stretch is ideal, more is fine. Cotton/Lycra jersey can also be used and is particularly good for the reversible version.
Fabric requirements: Yardage is for the semi-lined option. The fully lined/reversible option requires approximately double.
140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 50 - 160 cm (1/2 - 1 7/8 yd).
Sizing: Preemie/small newborn – 12 years. Please check the size chart.
Notions: Snap shoulder option: a scrap of medium weight interfacing; snaps, 2 for baby sizes or 4 for all other sizes (buttons can also be used).
